As part of my internship with the Cambridge Housing Authority, I collaborated with the City of Cambridge on their Star Communities Analysis related to Equitable Access and Services. This involved using the STAR methodology with Network Analysis to determine the percentage of each census tract in Cambridge that was with specified walking radii of amenities in Cambridge, to determine whether Focus Census tracts had equitable access. Focus census tracts were identified by the percentage of non-white residents and the percent of the population in the lowest income quintile.
